AutoSpeedWatch

The Parish Council owns and deploys an AutoSpeedWatch device. It's currently located on Droxford Road, capturing speeding vehicles travelling north towards Droxford.


The device records the number plates of vehicles exceeding the speed limit. The Parish Council uses the data to help inform our own understanding of speeding issues and we are pleased to report that Hampshire Police are now accepting anonymised data produced

by these devices.


The Police will be analysing locations and the days/times with the highest numbers of speeding vehicles to help inform decisions about future enforcement activity.
